Transfer

The Transfer service allows users to move assets between the Savings Account and Credit Line Account within Qaay without a blockchain transaction. Assets stay on the platform, with only their functional role updated.

A Transfer does not change asset ownership or market exposure. Assets remain subject to market price changes. Only their use within the system changes: assets may be used in credit calculations or allocated for earning and withdrawal, depending on the account.

Transfers are processed instantly, with no network fees or blockchain confirmation delays. This feature allows users to efficiently manage capital by adjusting asset functions within Qaay.

Qaay uses a dual-account structure, assigning financial functions to assets based on their account placement. Assets in the Credit Line Account are included in collateral valuation, Available to Borrow calculations, and Credit Score assessment. Assets in the Savings Account are designated for earning or withdrawal and are excluded from credit calculations.

The Transfer service moves assets between these two functions without requiring withdrawal and redeposit. It provides an internal mechanism for users to reassign their capital role within Qaay’s financial structure.

Transfer does not change asset ownership, market value, or risk exposure. It only adjusts internal asset classification. In addition to transfers between Savings and Credit Line Accounts, Qaay Transfer allows Business Tier users to transfer assets directly to another Qaay user within the platform, without blockchain settlement.

For a Transfer to be successfully executed, the asset must already be held within the Qaay system, and a sufficient transferable balance must be available in the source account. Before final confirmation, the system automatically verifies the available balance to ensure the operation is valid.

Transfer does not support asset conversion. To convert one cryptocurrency to another, users must use the Swap service before performing an internal transfer. Transfer is strictly an internal allocation tool, not a currency conversion service.

Internal transfers between Savings and Credit Line Account do not require additional two-factor authentication or separate password confirmation. Since the operation occurs entirely within the user’s Qaay accounts and does not involve external blockchain settlement, the transfer is completed once the user confirms the action in the Transfer interface.

Completion of identity verification (KYC) is not mandatory for performing internal transfers between Savings and Account Credit Line. Users may use the Transfer service without completing KYC.

Once a Transfer is confirmed, the specified amount is immediately deducted from the source account and credited to the destination account. As the operation is processed within Qaay’s internal infrastructure, execution is instant and does not depend on external network validation.

If assets are transferred to the Account Credit Line, they become part of collateral calculations and credit metrics and may influence Available to Borrow and Credit Score. If assets are transferred to the Savings Account, they are excluded from collateral participation and positioned for earning mechanisms or withdrawal availability.

Each completed Transfer is recorded in the Transaction Registry as an internal system event. The record includes the asset type, the transferred amount, the source and destination accounts, and the execution timestamp. Since no blockchain interaction occurs, the operation is considered final upon internal confirmation.

If a technical interruption occurs during the transfer process, users can verify the transaction outcome through the Wallet / Transactions section. If the transfer has been successfully registered in the system, the corresponding record will appear with its transaction details. If no transaction record exists, the asset balance in the source account remains unchanged.

During a Qaay Transfer between users, both accounts are updated simultaneously within the system to ensure balance accuracy and integrity. This feature allows internal asset transfers between Qaay users and is available only for Business Tier accounts.

Transfers should be treated as a capital management tool rather than a routine balance movement. Before initiating a transfer, users should clearly define whether their objective is to strengthen their credit position or to prepare assets for earning or withdrawal.

Moving assets to the Credit Line Account allows them to participate in credit calculations and may increase borrowing flexibility. However, it also places those assets within the platform’s risk evaluation framework. Transferring assets to the Savings Account removes them from credit calculations and positions them for liquidity management or reward generation.

Although internal transfers are not limited in frequency, they should align with the user’s overall financial strategy within Qaay. Transfer does not alter asset ownership or market value; it only adjusts the functional role of capital within the platform.

Qaay does not impose a fixed limit on the number of internal transfers between the Savings and Credit Line Account. Users may perform multiple transfers as needed.

Effective use of Transfer enhances capital efficiency, credit flexibility, and strategic portfolio management within the Qaay ecosystem.
