User Guidance
Section titled “User Guidance”A checklist to help you use the Wallet safely in Qaay:
-
First, confirm you are in the Wallet section, which is used for deposits, withdrawals, and viewing transactions.
-
Before depositing, select the correct asset and blockchain network as shown in the Wallet. The sending wallet must use the same network. Deposits are credited after required blockchain confirmations.
-
When copying a deposit address, ensure it matches the selected asset and network. Sending assets to an incompatible network or unsupported address can result in permanent loss of funds.
-
Before withdrawing, double-check the destination wallet address and confirm the receiving wallet supports the selected asset and blockchain network. Wallet transactions are irreversible once sent.
-
Review the network fee before confirming a withdrawal. Fees vary based on blockchain conditions and are required for processing.
-
After submitting a transaction, monitor its status in Transaction History.
Deposits appear in the transaction list after required blockchain confirmations are completed. Withdrawal transactions display status updates based on internal processing. You can track blockchain network status separately using the explorer link in transaction details.
-
Maintain account security at all times. Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) and never share your account credentials. Wallet operations directly affect your asset balances and require careful verification before confirmation.
-
Regularly review your Transaction History for accuracy. Export transaction records as needed for reporting, accounting, or auditing.
Understand what your Wallet displays. Asset balances show your available holdings in Qaay. Deposits increase your balance after confirmation, while withdrawals decrease it once processed. Always verify balances and transaction records before making financial decisions.
