How Qaay Cards Will Work
Section titled “How Qaay Cards Will Work”The Qaay Card extends the functionality of the Qaay ecosystem into real-world payments.
The service is being developed to integrate directly with established global payment networks. Once activated, users will be able to use their Qaay Account balances for everyday purchases.
Two operational formats will be supported. In Debit Mode, transactions are settled using available funds from the Savings Account. In Credit Mode, spending is processed through the Account Credit Line structure. Each Credit Mode transaction increases the user’s outstanding borrowing and is handled within Qaay’s credit management framework.
Card benefits, including Cashback incentives, are structured according to the user’s Tier level. Additional enhancements are currently under development and will be introduced in future updates.
Eligibility & Access
Section titled “Eligibility & Access”Access to the Qaay Card requires an active Qaay Account and compliance with platform eligibility standards.
Debit Mode requires a sufficient available balance within the Savings Account at the time of the transaction.
Credit Mode requires adequate Credit Limit within the Account Credit Line. Since spending increases outstanding debt, Available to Borrow must support the transaction amount.
Tier status influences reward eligibility and benefit levels. Users seeking enhanced card privileges may need to meet specific Tier requirements or maintain a Qaay Token balance.
Enrollment in the Waiting List is required prior to initial issuance.
Card Transactions & Rewards
Section titled “Card Transactions & Rewards”When a transaction is executed, settlement occurs automatically based on the selected spending mode.
In Debit Mode, the transaction amount is deducted from the Savings Account balance and recorded in the Transaction Registry.
In Credit Mode, the transaction generates a borrowing entry within the Account Credit Line. The system converts the necessary amount of cryptocurrency at market value to settle the payment. This conversion process follows Qaay’s internal pricing and risk-control mechanisms.
Eligible transactions trigger Cashback rewards, which are credited to the user’s account according to Tier rules.
All completed card operations are permanently recorded in the Transaction Registry to ensure transparency and auditability.
Important Considerations
Section titled “Important Considerations”The Qaay Card should be used with a clear understanding of its operational structure.
Debit Mode is suitable for users who prefer direct spending without affecting their borrowing position.
Credit Mode integrates spending into the credit framework and therefore influences overall debt exposure. Users should monitor their Credit Limit when using this mode frequently.
Tier progression enhances reward potential and may unlock stronger card benefits. Strategic Tier management can therefore improve long-term card value.
The Cards service is designed to unify digital asset management and global payment accessibility within a controlled, risk-aware ecosystem.
